From the tee, there is only a single small bunker on the fairway, but it has a habit of catching more shots than expected. The second shot is played blind, adding to the intrigue and challenge of the hole. For those laying up, the line is often directed towards the 1st tee, while the green itself sits visually towards the right edge of the clubhouse. Out of bounds tightly guards the left-hand side, while two deep bunkers protect the right of the green, narrowing the effective landing area for the approach. This makes positioning crucial, particularly under pressure late in the round.
